With a distribution network spanning 34 provinces and cities, Petrolimex maintained a full and seamless supply before, during, and after the Tet holiday, ensuring that no supply disruptions occurred in any region. Sales volume recorded positive growth compared to the same period last year.
Alongside the mission of securing the fuel supply, the Group placed a high priority on safety and security protocols across its entire system. During the peak holiday period, no incidents occurred regarding fire, environmental hazards, or occupational safety, and there were no casualties or property damage reported.
The Group’s chairman affirmed that ensuring a steady petroleum supply is not only a commercial requirement but also a vital political responsibility of a State-owned enterprise, reflecting its commitment to strictly following the directions of the Government and the Prime Minister.
Upholding a 70-year tradition, ensuring energy supply for the national economy
Addressing the working session, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son acknowledged and commended Petrolimex for its outstanding efforts and business performance over the past year, particularly its success in ensuring a stable petroleum supply during the 2026 Lunar New Year. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasised that, with its 70-year tradition of establishment and development, Petrolimex must continue to play its core role in safeguarding national energy security. The Group must maintain a steady supply of petroleum—the "lifeblood of the economy"—even under challenging circumstances, to support socio-economic development and macroeconomic stability.
Furthermore, the Deputy Prime Minister highly praised the spirit of solidarity and unity shared by the leadership and the entire workforce of Petrolimex. He stated that collective strength, discipline, and responsibility would serve as the foundation for the Group to maintain its position as a key State-owned enterprise in the petroleum sector. • Contribute actively to the market transition, providing comprehensive solutions in technology, technical standards, and operational implementation.
• Strengthen international cooperation to adopt advanced technologies and global best practices for the "greening" of the energy sector.
• Coordinate on national petroleum reserve strategies, participating in the planning and investment of storage and tank systems to meet long-term energy security requirements.
Mr. Pham Van Thanh, Party Secretary and Chairman of Petrolimex, respectfully acknowledged the Deputy Prime Minister’s directives. He affirmed that the Group would continue to uphold its traditions while strictly maintaining "Discipline – Order – Solidarity – Responsibility".
